Hello, I’m Lee (or Leanne). I recently moved to America in December 2014 and started this blog so my family and friends would be able to see what was happening in my life. Considering I’m living across the world from most of the people I love, I thought I’d make the most of living in this time where the internet makes a lot of things possible.
I grew up in South Africa. I’m a Durban girl and very down to earth. I graduated from Rhodes University last year, with my Bachelors in Psychology and Classical Studies. I lived in the small student town; Grahamstown, for three years and made unbelievable memories and friends.
I’m passionate about gyming, being creative and DIY’ing, my friends and family, anything floral, animals, tea, the beach, fruit, travel and living life.
I aim to show people how life happens when you’re busy making other plans, and even if it doesn’t work out how you wanted it to; it will be okay. Through my adventures and experiences I’ll share my ups and downs, what I’ve learnt about life and what I’ve learnt about myself.
This year I want to not only work to be able to travel before I do my post-graduate degree, but importantly; I want to learn how to be happy independently. I’ve thrown myself into a very difficult situation, but I want to prove to myself that I can cope and get through it all with a smile.
This blog is about me writing about my life right now, and I guess it’s been a way for me to make this into an adventure.
